BABY ZEPHYR FUND
During our February 5th (2015) meeting, our members selected the Zephyr Anderson Fund. Zephyr, or "Baby Z", was diagnosed by his pediatrician recently with a larger than normal sized head. From there, Zephyr was given an MRI at Hurley Medical Center and then sent to the University of Michigan's Children's Hospital
where a tumor behind a large cyst existed.
The cyst takes covers 75% of Zephyr's brain.
One surgery has been successfully been completed (removed a portion of the tumor and a portion of the cyst). But the Anderson family will have to take "Baby Z" back for another MRI and to meet with surgeons to find out what kind of tumor it was and what will take place for his next surgery.
We thank all of the members who have donated
to the family of Zephyr Anderson.
You truly are making a difference to a community family!
